Harry Hedman

Harry is a senior partner and head of the firm’s Helsinki office. He specialises in corporate, commercial (especially for the retail sector), contract, intellectual property and EU/competition law.

He was educated at the University of Helsinki (LL.M., 1971), did Court Practice from 1973-1975, took his Degree of Bench Training in 1975 and was admitted to the bar in 1976. Harry was a Finnish Member of the ICC Commission on International Arbitration from 1978-1991, Chairman of the Tax and Legal Planning Committee, of the Espoo Chamber of Commerce. Harry is the Chairman of the Board of the Finnish-American Club 1932 and a member of the Finnish Bar Association (Helsinki Section). He has the qualification of an Europaischer Rechtsanwalt in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. He also serves as a director for numerous international and Finnish corporations.
